I know this title is typical reserved for the Christmas season...and I agree, Christmas is wonderful. I LOVE Christmas. But despite my Christmas obsession, I think Fall rates as my FAVORITE time of year. So why is this the most wonderful time of year one might ask. In WILW style, let me tell you what I love about this season.
1. Lower temperatures. Our southern summers are hotter than four hells. I'm talking so hot you walk out the door and your carefully applied make-up immediately slides off your face into a melted blob on the ground. However, come
September October we finally start to feel a little relief from the extreme heat, and thus look a little less like a hot mess.
2. Football season. You see, we at the Miller High Life House eat, sleep, and breathe college football. Specifically Alabama football. Not only do I love the excitement and school pride associated with football season, it's also the perfect excuse to get together with friends, eat really unhealthy food, and enjoy questionable amounts of libations. Doesn't get much better than that folks.
3. Fall foliage. Call me a tree-hugger or a nerd, but I really do love the natural colors of fall. Reds, yellows, browns, oranges... so pretty. And literally every pot and planter at the M house is currently dripping with mums. Pumpkins come next!
4. Re-emergence of the PSL. Who doesn't get excited the first time they pull up to Starbucks and see the glorious Pumpkin Spice Latte back on the menu? I know this girl certainly does.
5. Fall TV Premieres. You guys know I love primetime tv. I make no excuses. Are there more productive things I could do with my time? Sure. But we all have our vices. The way I see it, mine could be much worse. Aside from a few little gems (True Blood, etc), summer tv is pretty much a long "dry spell". So when fall rolls around, I'm more than ready for all my favorite shows to return. And because I wouldn't be me without a list within a list, I'm breaking down the premieres I'm MOST excited about this season.

whoop! i too am in the market for mums...and i LOVE that fall shows are back!
I love fall too!! The PSL is definitely on my list of reasons and I'm hoping I can get one soon. And I love fall TV season and I'm not ashamed to admit that my DVR has WAY too many shows that I record. We definitely share some favorites - I can't wait for Revenge and Once Upon a Time on Sunday!
